Gordon Smith (1919-2020) is an English-born Canadian painter, printmaker, sculptor, and teacher currently living in West Vancouver, British Columbia. He specialized in abstract landscapes.

 

His art can be found in permanent collections such as the National Gallery of Canada, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. His works are regularly shown at the Equinox Gallery in Vancouver, and Smith has his own Gallery dedicated to Canadian art and children’s art education in North Vancouver.
