Leslie Reid (b.1947) is a Canadian artist whose works span mediums including painting, serigraphy, lithography, etching and drawing. She explores light, the emotive response of the viewer, and the limits of sight and space in her works.

Reid studied Art History and Political Science at Queen’s University before studying painting and printmaking at the Byam Shaw School of Art in London and printmaking at the Chelsea School of Art. Reid was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts in 1977 and won the RCA jury prize for excellence in Visual Arts in 2000. She was a professor of art at the University of Ottawa until 2007. Her work is in many permanent public collections including the National Gallery of Canada, the Canada Council Art Bank, and the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, among others.
